Chantelle: ‘Pete’s my perfect fella’

If you thought Katie Price and Peter Andre were a match made in the darkest depths of Hades, brace yourselves. Perma-tanned Big Brother party girl Chantelle Houghton appears to be making a beeline for the Aussie warbler, telling reporters that the 36-year-old ‘Insania’ star is her “perfect fella”.
Chantelle also hit out at Pete’s ex Jordan, calling the 31-year-old glamour girl “cruel”. “Peter’s caring and thoughtful and he’s a great dad,” said the one-time Celebrity Big Brother winner. “Jordan is so going to realise what she has lost. I think there’s that thing inside that makes her slam those shots down her neck and get her boobs out.” Hmmm… the words “pot” and “kettle” spring to mind, dear.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if she spends three months being a trashy glamour girl again and hits the ground with a bump,” La Houghton continued. “As I found out myself, it ain’t as good as you think it is.”
While Chantelle was busy sticking her oar in, Katie kicked off her three months of “being a trashy glamour girl” with, er, a trip to the local garden centre with her mum Amy, 56, and daughter Princess Tiaamii.
"Katie seemed very quiet today - mind you, she's always pretty quiet when she comes in,” said an insider at the store. "She's a regular customer and spent about an hour here. They like coming here because they don't get any attention from fans."
Katie spent an hour browsing before finally settling on £90 worth of compost and a trolley load of delphiniums – which can reach up to six feet in height and contain a nasty poison. Yikes, watch out Pete!
